The purpose of this newsletter is to share information regarding the Jefferson County JVS.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
It is hard to believe that we have already completed our first quarter of the school year! The days seem to be flying by, and as we reflect on these first several months, we are extremely proud of the progress our students have made and the many accomplishments taking place throughout the Jefferson County JVS.
Our classrooms, labs, and workspaces have been filled with opportunities for students to learn, explore, create, and put their skills into practice. From hands-on projects and industry experiences to leadership opportunities, community involvement, field trips, and career-related activities, our students continue to demonstrate what makes career-technical education so valuable. Each day, they are building more than technical skills. They are developing confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and the professionalism that will help prepare them for their next steps beyond high school.
One of the things that we appreciate most about our school is the variety of experiences available to our students. Whether they are working toward industry credentials, gaining valuable hands-on experience, participating in student organizations, or connecting with local businesses and community partners, they are continually discovering what is possible when learning extends beyond the traditional classroom. These experiences are at the heart of what we do and reflect our continued commitment to providing meaningful opportunities that prepare students for their futures.
As we move into November, the upcoming holidays traditionally bring a time of reflection, gratitude, and opportunities to reconnect with family and friends. Amid the busy schedules and excitement of the season, we hope everyone finds time to slow down, appreciate the people who make a difference in their lives, and recognize the many things we have to be thankful for. At the JVS we are especially grateful for our students, families, staff, and community partners who make the Jefferson County JVS such a special place to learn and grow. Your continued support and partnership play an important role in the success of our students.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your student's educational journey. We are excited about what lies ahead and look forward to the opportunities, accomplishments, and memories still to come this school year.
Respectfully,
Heather Hoover; Principal
